The Governing Body of the Court of
Arbitration is the Arbitration Committee consisting of the
President of the Court of Arbitration, First Deputy President
and three Vice Presidents.
The President of the Court of Arbitration represents the
Court in contacts with third parties and is responsible
for other activities as set forth in the Rules and Regulations.
The Vice Presidents act as substitutes of the Court President
in matters entrusted to them by the President or by the
Arbitration Committee.
Resolutions of the Arbitration Committee are adopted with
the majority of votes of all its members.
The Nomination Committee is responsible
for substituting nomination of arbiters and deciding on
termination of the arbiter term of office in the event of
the arbiter excluding or dismissing. The Nomination Committee
consists of the President and two members. While exercising
its duties, the Nomination Committee is not bound by any
instructions or opinions.
The Secretariat, managed by the Secretary General, is an
executive body of the Court of Arbitration and acts and
operates under the management of the Arbitration Committe
