It was
established under the resolution of the Extraordinary General
Meeting of the Confederation of 15 February 2005. It is a
modern institution, recognised internationally and regionally,
aimed at swift and quick settlement of property and corporation
disputes. For businessmen, it means quick decisions settling
disputes and reduction of business operations costs. Establishing
of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Confederation of
Private Employers follows the strong worldwide trends of more
and more common utilisation of alternative and conciliatory
means of disputes settlements, principles of which are rooted
in the UNCITRAL model law, the New York Convention of 1958
and the European Convention of 1961.
