Arbitration experience

I represent clients in local and international arbitration proceedings in commercial cases, including, in particular, disputes related to construction sector and infrastructure projects. Moreover, I represent clients in proceedings aimed at enforcement or setting aside arbitral awards in Poland.

My professional experience includes, in particular, the following cases:

  1. Representing a Bulgarian state-owned company in a dispute with a Russian company, concerning construction of a nuclear power plant (ICC; value exceeding EUR 1 billion) http://globalarbitrationreview.com/article/1078538/bulgaria-pays-russia-to-end-nuclear-dispute
  2. Representing a Polish-Spanish consortium of construction companies in a dispute with an investor, concerning realization of a mining industry project (SA KIG; value exceeding PLN 15 million);
  3. Representing a Polish investor in a dispute with a general contractor in two parallel arbitration proceedings (SA KIG; value approx. PLN 15 million);
  4. Representing a Polish municipal company in a dispute with international contractor, concerning a public transportation investment (ICC; value exceeding EUR 1.5 million);
  5. Representing a contractor in a dispute with a public investor related to construction works (ICC; value exceeding EUR 30 million);
  6. Advising an international construction company in proceedings related to setting aside an ICC award in Poland;
  7. Advising in various proceedings concerning recognition and enforcement, and setting aside of arbitral awards;
  8. Advising an international investor in investment arbitration against Poland;
  9. Developing a strategy for an international investor for a potential investment arbitration against Poland.
